Smiths Bar & Grill

Nestled in the charming Little Venice, Smiths Bar & Grill offers a picturesque dining experience that will only get better with the changing seasons. The restaurant’s expansive interior has many large windows, ensuring that snagging a window seat should be easy. During my visit, having not booked ahead didn’t deter the accommodating staff from promptly seating us and attending to our needs, including taking our coats.

Stepping inside this luxurious establishment, the high ceilings and contemporary décor exude an air of sophistication. The comprehensive cocktail menu caught my eye, but my unwavering preference for an Old Fashioned was effortlessly catered to. For those inclined towards other drinks, a variety of lagers and more await.

Given our impromptu visit en route to an event, we opted for a couple of small plates from the sides menu. To our delight, the food arrived swiftly, served with an impeccable level of attentiveness from the staff, each of whom was eager to assist and answer any queries.

While my visit this time only allowed for a glimpse of the offerings, the impressive service and glimpses of the dishes have already convinced me to make a return trip. An full sample of their main course menu beckons, enabling a comprehensive and detailed review in the future.

For now, my experience warrants an interim 5-star rating, cemented by the exceptional hospitality and the promise of what Smiths Bar & Grill has in store.
